Watch for YourTurn normally scheduled to air at the end of Heartland News at Noon on Mondays and Fridays, at the end of Heartland News at 10:00 on Saturday nights, and following The Breakfast Show on Sunday mornings.
Rose Green from Greenville, Missouri:
"My husband and I have had NO access to decent medical treatment in more than four years. I now see that ‘Insure Missouri' is being funded by already existing funds...I wonder if the (people) in Southeast Missouri are aware at how low the income guidelines are set for low income medical coverage? For a family of four, you cannot make more than $342 per month, yet a family with NO income at all is allowed all medical coverage WITHOUT proof of disability, WITHOUT reasonable cause for treatment to get them to work and WITHOUT an income at all...Missouri is the Show Me State...show my family health coverage!"
Teresa Mowery from Anna, Illinois:
"I applaud the persons who are genuinely trying to care for the elderly in nursing homes regardless of their race. This is back breaking work and often low pay. Don't those shady workers who would rather be smoking cigarettes in the lounge think they will ever get old? What goes around usually comes around."
Carl Shinabargar from Ste. Genevieve, Missouri:
"I enjoy (Mike Smythe's) commentaries even if they don't concern me...when he said insurance companies were going to use credit reports to determine (rates) my company did exactly the same thing...in 15 years with the company I had no claims...my house insurance went up $300 for the year. I'm really disgusted."
