Watch for YourTurn normally scheduled to air at the end of Heartland News at Noon on Mondays and Fridays, at the end of Heartland News at 10:00 on Saturday nights, and following The Breakfast Show on Sunday mornings.
Lorne Fach from Pinckneyville, Illinois:
"I have heard about people complaining about the violence on television. The simple fact is there is a lot of good on television... television (programming) is made up of 90% fiction...if you think it is too violent then it is time to turn it off and do something (else)."
Kim Mitchell from Jackson, Missouri:
"I must respond to (Mike Smythe's) ViewPoint focusing on Dr. James Dobson (4/27/08-Dr. James Dobson). Today's American culture spends too much time in front of the TV watching programs focused on sex, murder and abuse...(Smythe's) disagreement with Dobson appears to be created so that he can pat himself and the ownership on the back. Isn't this the ultimate in sensationalism?"
Jeremy Ritch from Perryville, Missouri:
"I am one of many in the surrounding counties trying to drum up support for a local National Guard Amory to be named after our fallen hero, soldier, and friend, Bradley J. Skelton who was killed in action in Baghdad. I have written to Governor Matt Blunt. I am hoping your news channel can spread the word..."
Tammie Ward from Holcomb, Missouri:
"With prices going crazy on gas, people in the Heartland need to remember that those working in the places selling gas ARE NOT responsible for the price. We don't set prices and we do not get our gas for free. The attitudes and cussing we get from customers over the prices is embarrassing...these people should be ASHAMED!
