Watch for YourTurn normally scheduled to air at the end of Heartland News at Noon on Mondays and Fridays, at the end of Heartland News at 10:00 on Saturday nights, and following The Breakfast Show on Sunday mornings.
Robert McMahon from Kennett, Missouri:
"I have to agree with Jeanie Irvin's comments regarding inexperienced riders jumping out and buying a scooter or motorcycle to save gas...(they) do save fuel, but at what expense do we place the value of a gallon of gas? I ride a motorcycle daily and know the risk I take the moment I leave my drive. It scares me to death to see an inexperienced rider jump right on a bike..."
Barbara Macke from Cape Girardeau:
"...why must others degrade scooters and their drivers as they become more popular? I drive a small one...other drivers of these alternative forms of transportation are making a conscious choice to largely reduce their carbon footprint, not just save a buck. Give time for novices to become better drivers and respect their choice to live a better lifestyle....be open to new things."
Randy Yancey from Dexter, Missouri:
"I find Mike Smythe's ViewPoints interesting even though I do not always agree, as in the case with the death penalty. I do believe in the death penalty. No person that willingly and knowingly kills or rapes should be allowed to live, especially when these attacks are conducted on children. Make it swift like the right to a speedy trial, let them have a right to a speedy appeal and, when convicted, the right to a speedy death."
Nathan Cromwell from Cape Girardeau:
"We need a casino (to) bring tourism and money to Cape (but) if people vote yes on Proposition A the casino will not happen. Please vote no on Proposition A...if you vote yes...you are just hurting Missouri."
