About half of the states have made the decision to expand Medicaid. Missouri lawmakers are currently debating the matter in Jefferson City. How will what legislators decide impact the state, and those currently living without health insurance?

Rescheduled Again - "Killshot" in Theaters on January 23
By: Heartland News

It's happened so many times we're not sure if this move will ever see the darkness of a local movie theater. But once again, The Weinstein Company has rescheduled the theatrical release date for the movie "Killshot". This time, according to the company web site, the movie will be in theaters on January 23.

The last time the company made a release announcement was a few months ago when they said "Killshot" would be in theaters November 7.

Scenes for the movie "Killshot" was shot more than two years ago in downtown Cape. However, as we previously reported many of the scenes shot in downtown Cape were edited out and replaced with new scenes shot in a small Canadian town.

Stars in the movie include Diane Lane, Mickey Rourke and Johnny Knoxville (who is now rumored to have been edited out of the film) and Thomas Jane.

An interview was recently posted online with Thomas Jane.

"I did a movie called 'Killshot.' That looks like it's going straight to DVD. It didn't turn out so hot I guess," Jane said.

Jane didn't mention when the movie might be out on DVD.

"Killshot" is based on an Elmore Leonard novel.  It was filmed in late 2005 and early 2006 with scene shot in Cape in January 2006.  It was originally supposed to debut in October 2006.
