Illinois and western Kentucky. Up to 2 to 3 inches of rain has
already fallen since Thursday evening. Even though the rain may let
up in intensity in some locations, flooding of low lying and poor
drainage areas will likely continue to some degree through the
morning.

* At 8:00 PM Thursday the stage was 11.8 feet.
* Flood Stage is 15.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Saturday evening and continue
to rise to near 19.0 feet by Sunday early afternoon. The river will
fall below flood stage by Monday morning.
* Impact...At 15.0 Feet...Minor flooding occurs affecting mainly
bottomland and surrounding low lying areas.
